Password Problem

I was very happy to find Glubble on Firefox. I thought I had set up everything correctly and had no problems adding the kids, etc. My problem is everytime I am in the main page and try to do anything I get a pop-up box asking me to have a helper put in the family password. What have I messed up? I thought as the mom I could move about easily on the site but it looks like it thinks I'm a kid?

Hi Alisa,

that doesn't sound like normal behavior. I assume that when you are saying main page you mean the main Family Page right? That should definitely not be password protected. Only child mode should be protected.

Could you try the following process to see if that solves your problem?

1. Close your Firefox browser.
2. Locate your Firefox's profile:
* On Windows XP/2000:
o The path is C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\.
o Note for Windows XP/2000: The Application Data folder is a hidden folder. To show hidden folders, open the Windows Explorer (the application that allows you to browse your files in your computer) and choose "Tools -> Folder Options -> View (tab) -> Show hidden files and folders".
* On Windows Vista:
o The path is C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default
o Note for Windows Vista: The AppData folder is a hidden folder. To show hidden folders, open Windows Explorer (the application that allows you to browse your files in your computer) and choose "Organize -> Folder and Search Options -> Folder Options -> View (tab) -> Show hidden files and folders"
* On Linux, the path is ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/
* On Mac OS X, the path is ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/xxxxxxxx.default
* Note: xxxxxxxx is a random string of 8 characters (e.g. irxsh9wu)
3. Remove the folder named "Glaxstar" and the file named "cookies.sqlite".
4. Start Firefox. You will need to log in to the Family home page again, using your Family Address, your Family Password and you email address.

If not, can you asnwer the following questions:
1) What operating system are you using (Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS, or Linux)
2) What version of Firefox are you using?
3) What verison of the Glubble Extension do you have installed? The latest one is V 2.0.4.6, and this can be downloaded here:
