Is there a notification or a way to see when one of my kids is online?

EXACTLY! or a way to have me approve when they log in besides a password, like a popup notification on the toolbar, an email, plus a way to have them log in during approved times. Parents should also be able to opt in or out of these options based on child age/preferences.

good suggestions. We've had other users request for timer functions as well. We'll look into that as well when we start working on online status.

not yet. We are working on infrastructure that allows us to do that. I don't expect it before the end of the year though (still have many other improvements on our list).
